چکیده
We present the second public data release of Dark Energy Survey, DES DR2, based on optical/near-infrared imaging by Camera mounted 4 m Blanco telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile. DR2 consists reduced single-epoch and coadded images, a source catalog derived from associated products assembled 6 yr science operations. This includes wide-area survey covering ?5000 deg2 southern Galactic cap five broad photometric bands, grizY. has median delivered point-spread function FWHM g = 1.11'', r 0.95'', i 0.88'', z 0.83'', Y 090, uniformity with standard deviation < 3 mmag respect to Gaia G band, accuracy ?11 mmag, internal astrometric precision ?27 mas. The depth for 195 diameter aperture signal-to-noise ratio 10 is 24.7, 24.4, 23.8, 23.1, 21.7 mag. ?691 million distinct astronomical objects detected 10,169 image tiles size 0.534 produced 76,217 images. After basic quality selection, benchmark galaxy stellar samples contain 543 145 objects, respectively. These are accessible through several interfaces, including interactive visualization tools, web-based query clients, cutout servers, Jupyter notebooks. constitutes largest set date achieved precision.

The Dark Energy Survey Data Management System
The Dark Energy Survey (DES) collaboration will study cosmic acceleration with a 5000 deg griZY survey in the southern sky over 525 nights from 2011-2016. The DES data management (DESDM) system will be used to process and archive these data and the resulting science ready data products. The DESDM system consists of an integrated archive, a processing framework, an ensemble of astronomy codes an...
متن کاملThe Dark Energy Survey
The Dark Energy Survey is proposing to constrain dark energy with four complementary probes: galaxy cluster counts, weak lensing, galaxy clustering and Type Ia Supernovae. In order to achieve this a new 3 deg CCD camera will be mounted on the Blanco 4-m telescope at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO). The camera will be sensitive up to 24 magnitude in the g,r,i and z bands. The ...
متن کاملThe Dark Energy Survey Data Management System: The Processing Framework
The Dark Energy Survey Data Management (DESDM) system will process and archive the data from the Dark Energy Survey (DES) over the five year period of operation. This paper focuses on a new adaptable processing framework developed to perform highly automated, high performance data parallel processing. The new processing framework has been used to process 45 nights of simulated DECam supernova i...
متن کاملThe Dark Energy Survey Science Program
The Dark Energy Survey (DES) will enable measurements of the dark energy and dark matter densities and the dark energy equation of state through four independent methods: galaxy clusters, weak gravitational lensing, galaxy angular clustering (baryon acoustic oscillations), and supernovae. These methods, highlighted by the Dark Energy Task Force Report (DETF) as the most promising, are doubly co...
متن کاملThe Dark Energy Survey Instrument Design
We describe a new project, the Dark Energy Survey (DES), aimed at measuring the dark energy equation of state parameter, w, to a statistical precision of ~5%, with four complementary techniques. The survey will use a new 3 sq. deg. mosaic camera (DECam) mounted at the prime focus of the Blanco 4m telescope at the Cerro-Tololo International Observatory (CTIO). DECam includes a large mosaic camer...
